Very helpful and friendly stuff who kindly gave us some free troubleshooting advice over the phone before needing to schedule an in-person appointment. When you contact a professional is mainly due to a malfunctioning component of some sort and it is not always a pleasant experience. Well I had my garage door springs broken and kind of trapped in the garage when couldn't take my car out. This is the 3rd time I've used the Ron's Garage Door Repair, and they have made simple work out of what appears to be a daunting and dangerous job. They are reliable and usually arrive early. They work quickly and charge a very reasonable amount. Today I was at work, and my garage door was stuck half open. Understanding that I was concerned about securing my property, the came by early, and the job was completed while I was at work. Such a relief for me, and it was so nice to know that people I trust were taking care of my repair. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!!

Just by talking with Ron, I could tell he was a straight talking decent human being. Ron thought he might be able to fix the opener. After looking at it, he said it couldn't be fixed(19 year old and hard to find parts) and told me to buy a certain make and model off Amazon and installed it for a very reasonable price. Ron just put in my new garage door, and it looks fantastic! This is our second service with Garage Door Guys. We had a new opener put in about a year or two ago, so I knew who to call when we were ready for a new door. Ron came over with all the info I needed to pick a door, ordered the door, and arranged to come by and install as soon as it was ready. After I picked a color, he came by one more time just to double check it against my new paint, which I really appreciated! Plus he's just a great guy to talk with. This is the second time I called Ron. The motor of my 20 years old garage door opener suddenly gave up. Ron came with a spare part and replaced it quickly at a reasonable price. As usual, he lubes everything else and make sure everything is working properly. - He answered the phone. - Arrived on-time as promised. How great is it to have someone who you can totally rely on?! Well Ron is that guy! This is my 3rd time to use Ron's services in 20 years. The garage spring snapped Monday night; I left a message Tuesday morning and Ron returned my call within 2 hours. Unfortunately the earliest he could fit me in was Thursday. Though I couldn't open the garage at all I was willing to wait for Ron to repair it as my past interactions with his service have been excellent. Ron met me at my house on time and within 30 minutes had the garage door repaired, running more smoothly than it had operated in many years! If you have a problem with your garage door - Ron's your guy to call! Once again, thank you Ron for your great service!

They did not ""just replace"" the unit, they repaired it, on Tuesday (the day after I called) and they charged less than I was originally quoted (which was already reasonable). I have nothing but good things to say about this business and Ron himself. I was in need of garage door work as the door got stuck mostly due to the drive/lift being installed poorly by the original owner of our house. I actually called another company first (that I had used before) for a quote and was told the whole door needed replacing along with other work. I was quoted over $1k. Ron on the other hand, explained to me why the door did not need to be replaced and worked on the needed repair. The job was only a small fraction of what I was quoted by the first guy. I'm a happy customer. Ron is truly a professional with integrity and he's now my go-to guy for garage door related needs. He's also highly rated on Nextdoor for my location.

I had a problem with my garage about 10 years ago; Ron had made such a great impression with me that I immediately called him when my garage failed to open. I left a message for Ron; he promptly returned my call and we scheduled the repair for the following day. Ron was right on time and diagnosed the problem (broken spring) and also made a recommendation to add a cross bar for additional support as one of the panels had creased. He had the whole thing fixed within 30 min. I highly recommend Ron, very nice, wonderful service and reasonably priced.

My garage door wasn't opening or closing using any of our buttons. In less then 30 minutes my garage was opening/closing and in an even quieter and smoother way then before it broke. The Garage Door Guys fixed some wiring but also greased the garage door wheels and joints so that it wouldn't operate so loudly. The difference was pretty incredible and I wouldn't hesitate to call again if I had any problems.

These guys called me back in just a couple hours and left a VM for a couple things to do to see if I could easily fix myself. Their recommendations worked and the door is good as new! He asked me a couple of questions and said he had a pretty good idea what the problem was. Said I could fix it myself and even gave me the part for free!! The springs on my garage door broke at 9 in the morning. Looked on for a repair service and came across The Garage Door Guys. Called and spoke with Ron who said he was available at 1 PM the same day. He ended up calling at 12:45 PM to ask if it he could come a bit early. He showed up and got to work right away and fixed the springs in less than half an hour for the quoted price. He was honest and did a great job. I would highly recommend his services.

Ron had repaired our old 56 year old garage door and its ancient Genie opener a couple of times over the years. This time, he helped us to select a new garage door. He ordered it for us. He had it delivered to his business and arrived the next day to install it. He suggested a good brand of opener, too that we picked up at Home Depot. While unloading the panels at our house, he cracked one of the glass panes. The rest of the installation went well. He cleverly took the old one-piece door off its hinges and lowered it onto the top of his truck. He installed heavier grade hinges and other hardware for the new door. He also installed a reinforcing bar to keep the door from bending -- something the manufacturer did not include. He was fast and methodical about the installation. His thirty years of experience in the garage door business was obvious. Once he was done, we arranged for him to return and replace the cracked window. That went without a hitch. He used this as a teaching moment to demonstrate to me how I could do a window replacement myself in the future, if necessary. Ron's price is a bit lower than other bidders and his honesty and pride of workmanship were refreshing.

Ron is a great guy. He worked on my garage doors and his estimate are the lowest that I have seen. Nor does he compromise on the quality of work for that estimate. Definitely the go-to guy for garage doors. When others said I had to replace the entire door, he just fixed the door for a nominal cost. And his fix lasted for years and still holding strong. These guys are the best! Repaired 2 garage doors. The garage doors were never fixed quite right and often caused leakage issues. I called them and they arrived on time. I called Ron's because a spring broke on my garage door. The technician that arrived quoted a price that I thought was expensive but I was willing to pay to get the door fixed. Once the springs were successfully replaced, he explained that the price quoted was per spring and that the final bill would be twice as much. The technician charged $896 to replace 2 torsional springs and I paid because I felt I had no choice after the repair was completed.

Ron's Garage Door Repair is prompt to send someone over for diagnostics, they charge $20 but advertises free estimates on their websites. They don't honor what they say. Also they don't tell you about subcontracting out the sales to Fix & Go Garage Door Service, who then subcontract out the actual repair to Emerald Garage Door Service. I'm paying for middle man after middle man. The service was to replace bar, drum, brackets and spring for a single width door. The quote was $785 after tax. Out of that $550 for parts and $180 for labor. The whole replacement took about 90 minutes. I notice labor was reasonable but part was way high because I googled the parts and all of them adds up to less than $100. I do not recommend Ron's Garage Door Repair. [Update 9/17] This company told me that if I remove this review, they will give me $50 dollars back. I declined to remove. In my view, this is a scam technique to win fake positive reviews on Google. Stay away from this place.
